For a nutritious
Transparency
We believe that to feed a cat properly, you need to understand exactly what they are eating every day. Transparency and honesty are core values that we will never compromise on. Because your trust is everything to us, we share everything with you: Where we make our food and how we make it, the detailed nutritional compositions of our dry and wet food for cats, how we source our raw materials, and our choice of packaging.
You have the pawer!
Premium Quality
The quality of our recipes is what makes them unique. From the choice of our raw materials to the expertise of our recipes, we work tirelessly to offer cats the best possible nutrition.
Every ingredient in each recipe is selected for its specific nutritional property. Our recipes contain few ingredients, all of which are healthy and simple. No controversial ingredients, no compromise on quality.
Learn more about the ingredients we use in our dry and wet food for cats
Because our cats remain primarily hunters, strict carnivores, the principal ingredient in each of our recipes is always a source of animal protein (+60%). And not just any old source. For our wet food, we don't use reconstituted meat, mechanically separated meat, or any "waste" animal products (carcass scraps, skin, feathers, bones...). Only real chunks of muscle meat and premium organ meats, rich in quality protein, highly digestible by cats.
Carbs are not an essential part of a cats’ diet. While starch is necessary to manufacture dry food, it's not required in wet food. Our dry food recipes contain only the minimum carbs required for production. Our wet food for cats contains no grain (rice, wheat, corn, oats...) or tubers (potato, sweet potato, tapioca...) or legumes (peas, lentils, chickpeas...) and always less than 2% carbs (which are naturally present in meat and vegetables).
Because nutrition is a science, we chose to work with a scientist. Dr. Géraldine Blanchard is a veterinarian expert in feline nutrition and has developsed all our unique recipes from day one.
A cat's diet is much less varied than ours. It must provide him with the 40 essential nutrients required for a healthy life, be complete and of premium quality.
We have complete trust in Dr. Blanchard and her unique expertise. Beyond her skills, we share the same values and unconditional love for cats.
The environment
We combine the well-being of cats with that of the environment to create the nutrition of tomorrow.
We've developed our packaging to minimise its environmental impact. Our trays are made of aluminum, a material that is 100% recycled and recyclable nearly infinitely. The label on our trays is made from paper, which is also 100% recyclable.
Our wet food for cats is particularly lightweight (8 times lighter than a metal can and 20 times lighter than a glass jar) and generates less waste and less CO2 during transport. We've chosen to use only aluminum trays, as plastic pouches are neither recycled nor recyclable.
We work with a French cardboard and paper supplier. Our boxes contain 90% recycled fibres and are 100% recyclable. They are made from FSC-certified paper and printed with water-based inks.
We've made the ethical choice to use premium organ meats that are highly nutritious but seldom eaten by humans, such as heart (which is a muscle), lung and liver in all our recipes. This choice allows us to drastically reduce our environmental impact, cutting our CO2 emissions by 95% (compared to using meat fillets).
For fish recipes, we use trimmings from fillets that are fit for human consumption but not typically used.
For recipes with fish flavors, the addition is made from fillet scraps, suitable for human consumption but not used directly.
We currently source over 95% of our meat and fish from France. The missing 5% being our salmon, which is caught in Norway. We refuse to use meats such as lamb sourced from the other side of the world.

Made in France
France is world-renowned for its gastronomy and love of good products... Next step, world-wide acclaim for its feline nutrition.
That’s why all our recipes are made in France at our partner factories:
- Our wet food for cats is made in Normandy,
- Our dry food for cats is produced in the Vendée,
- Our litter is sourced in Eure-et-Loir,
- Our probiotics for cats in Seine-Maritime,
- Our cardboard is produced in Rhône-Alpes!
Hurray for Good Food & hurray for France - now also for our cats!
Working with Charities
Ever since we started we've been supporting charities and shelters in France.
Providing healthy nutrition and care to as many cats as possible is the main reason we created Ziggy.
So our greatest pride and pleasure is that we donate hundreds of meals every month to our partner charities, thanks to you. And for that, we say THANK YOU.
